“ The happy hour menu was good, hot apple cider and mulled wine on a snowy evening was perfect. The chocolate cake was rich and flavorful, the restaurant itself was very romantic and cozy for my partner and I. Service was kid but a little on the slower side. ”

“ I really enjoyed the chocolate martinis! I was truly very happy to try this wonderful spot. The quality of ingredients used to design an exquisite drink was truly worth the wait. My sister really loved the concept of stars in the bar and it had a very classy and dim light feel. We appreciated the elements of the bar in connection to astrology and being at the right place at the right time. We definitely want to come back. We didn't get to try the food, but it is evident that everyone else was there for food. It looked delicious. The raspberry chocolate martini was my fave. My only feedback is that i wish the martini was a tiny bit creamier. The martinis tended to feel a bit watery. ”

“ Ayza Wine & Chocolate Bar is an absolute gem in the heart of the city. This quaint restaurant offers an intimate and mellow ambience, incredible service, and many delicious and unique menu items. They offer an amazing selection of chocolate martinis that are to die for, and delicious food that will make you want to try everything on the menu. Another unique feature is the trolley parked outside that is used for outdoor seating. They also have a great happy hour special Monday to Fridays from 4 to 6. This spot will definitely become one of your favorites once you visit. ”

“ The drinks, concept, and food are amazing. I love chocolate. I love espresso martinis (they have so many different kinds). I love pasta, and they've got the best cacio e pepe here. No seriously. It was so good that I got a little upset about not living nearby all the time. Yes, everything else was delicious. But I still dream about this Cacio e Pepe. Service was okay. Not my favorite. Servers seemed a tad upset or tired, but probably because of the ambiance. It's a small place inside and it's crowded. ”

“ Been here twice now, and I'm not yet sure whether I like coming here because I just like the *idea* of a dessert-centered wine bar or if I genuinely recommend the food and drinks. I often exponentiate my already low tolerance for alcohol by operating on a near-empty stomach on weekdays (I walked so Bella Hadid could...also walk, I guess), so two shots of whiskey or a particularly potent margarita alone can get me drunker than a skunk. This means that when I call a drink "strong", it might mean nothing at all, but if I call a drink "weak", know that it is likely abysmally so... The chocolate martinis from Ayza can be characterized as the latter. As delicious as the drinks are, I have to assume that the bartenders have been instructed to merely ruminate on an Irish cream liqueur in the abstract while assembling the drinks instead of actually pouring any into their martinis, because both times I visited, I found myself enjoying the drink thoroughly but wondering if I had missed a note stating that it was a nonalcoholic beverage. The apple cider mule, on the other hand, was FAR stronger than I anticipated. I had just a few sips of it, and my head started swimming almost immediately. It was ravishing. I had the chocolate earthquake cake (they should have named it "The Chocolate Earthcake"; a missed oppuntunity, but I digress) twice, and it was delicious both times. But delicious in the way that a lava cake from an applebees is also delicious. The dessert was good, and I would consider ordering it again, but it was nothing to write home about. Also, a special apology to the poor waitress who panicked a bit after seeing my note about "avoiding dairy" in my second reservation. Some of us are unlucky simpletons who weren't blessed with complete immunity from lactose, and I hope she understood that while I generally make an effort to avoid dairy, the two of us had already made peace with the misfortunes that would undoubtedly befall us after the meal before we even stepped foot in the bar :') ”

“ Brunch Review My friend and I came here Sunday at 1:30, it was not packed, and it was wonderful. Brunch ends at 3 pm, says at 4 but they stop taking orders at 3. Small cozy restaurant, we sat outside, the server came with the menus, and we started with some drinks. The Strawberry and Raspberry chocolate martini were extraordinary! sweet, fruity, classy and very chocolaty! My friend ordered a Pomegranate Margarita and it was perfectly made. Food : Avocado Toast : 4 of 5 , good but the bread it wasn't very soft. Reuben Sandwich: 5 of 5 very well-made, fresh ingredients, good portion. Wine & Chocolate Pairings Whiteout - Sweet wines and chocolate, good for a treat but you need to order food and drinks, don't rely on this, you need to order more food. The service was great, everything was clean and organized. Recommended. ”
